About This Space

About This Space

Peace Middle East Cafe is one of those hidden gems in Richardson that just hits different. The vibe here is calm and cozy, with soft music playing in the background that makes it easy to sink into your work or just relax with a friend. The decor is thoughtful without trying too hard, and the whole place has this welcoming energy that makes you want to stay awhile. The staff are genuinely warm and attentive in a way that feels real, not scripted. It's become a go-to late-night study spot for a reason—people feel comfortable here.

But let's talk about the food and drinks, because that's where this place really shines. Their Arabic coffee is rich and aromatic in a way that makes regular coffee seem boring, and if you're feeling adventurous, the Saffron Matcha Latte is worth trying. The menu goes way beyond typical cafe fare—made-to-order sweet and savory crepes, gourmet waffles, and legit Middle Eastern desserts like Turkish Baklava and Baklava Cheesecake. Everything tastes homemade and looks beautiful when it arrives at your table. Oh, and the owner actually stopped by and gave me 2 free desserts, which was such a nice surprise. You can tell they genuinely care about what they're serving and who they're serving it to.
