About This Space

Frisco Library is a state-of-the-art facility that perfectly balances traditional library services with modern collaborative workspace design. Their signature mark would be the T-REX fossil statue taking place at the center of the library. Unlike traditional quiet-only libraries, this location features dedicated collaborative zones where group discussions are welcome and encouraged. It's a huge space. I personally love studying here because the building has contemporary architecture with open floor plans, natural lighting, and flexible furniture arrangements.

The library offers multiple large group study tables, numerous bookable study rooms with whiteboards and presentation screens, and comfortable lounge areas for informal meetings. The staff is helpful and tech-savvy, able to assist with everything from research questions to connecting devices to presentation equipment. Free WiFi is fast and reliable throughout the building, supporting multiple devices and video conferencing needs. During my UX design brainstorming sessions I was able to rent a room and use their white boards. You can also see many professional meetings taking place in their meeting rooms

• Book group study rooms online at least 24-48 hours in advance
• Rooms can accommodate 4-12 people depending on size
• Bring your laptop - rooms have HDMI cables for presentations
• Use the collaborative zones freely - talking is allowed there
• Check out markers and erasers for whiteboard use
• Evening hours are popular - book early or arrive before 5 PM
• Be respectful of quiet zones when moving between areas
